Nestled near the seaside village of Mavrovouni, Gytheio, our traditional family house invites you to experience the warmth and hospitality of authentic Greek living. Blu Bene

Blu Bene in Italian means “the blue water well”. My family and I recently decided to paint our traditional water well blue and so the name of our rental house was born.

Relax with the sounds of nature

One of the things I love most about our house is that you are close to nature. You will listen to chirping birds, singing crickets, and even the sea waves from afar.

Enjoy the beach at any time of the day

Being so close to the sea is truly therapeutic. While staying at Blu Bene you get to enjoy the beach at any time, since you are only 5 minutes away. Early morning runs by the seaside, swimming, meditating, watching the colors of the sun setting behind the mountain is magical. If you are lucky - or well organised - you will be able to see the full moon rise above the water.

A place to (finally!) get some rest

These days life can be hectic. Phone calls, meetings, work, etc. We all have the right to relax and unwind a little. Our house combines tradition and comfort in a way that ensures you have everything you need. We do believe in a more sustainable way of living though, so we strive to maintain an environmentally friendly home, meaning reducing unnecessary types of luxury.
